hi, first time poster.

im at the bit where i need to whip the shaman, but he regenerates faster than i can hurt him.

ive got my death knight with the death knights claw and my human with a bone bow (shadow and explosive arrows seem to work best).

my guys occasionally miss meaning the shaman has time to regenerate. i go through about 100 potions and eventually he gets a critical and wipes me out.

ive done all the quests, battlefields and cleared all the maps of any badies, ive got as much experience as i can muster.

what am i doing wrong? i read a walkthrough that says in the shaman realm he gets even tougher.... i havent even got that far and if i do, what chance do i have of killing him?

Hello.

Yes, he is indeed very difficult to beat. I used something that could freeze him.

Also, you could look out where his weaknesses might be and use weapons / equipment especially for him. But on the other hand you don't know the weakness before you beat him ...

I think that using the "charms" would also be a good thing,. They provide a good protection. The Merchants in the Battlefields often have some.

I think that the key is the optimized equipment and weapons. On that i cannot say much because a) it's quite a while since I played the game and b) it's an individual thing.

You could also use the forum's Search Function and look into the tips threads that are already there.

hey, thanks for the tips.

im already using charms on everything i can. and theres no other threads about the shaman other than the "im locked out" threads.

if someone could look in the trophies and see what the shaman's weakness is, that would be great. ive tried all the different arrows and various weapons, but none seem to do enough damage!

i know it spoils the game, but ive been trying for weeks and now im fed up.

I changed the Date Range to "all posts" and upped the count to 1000 instead of 25.

Glad I could help.

they were perfect tips.

he was no pussycat and didnt go down easy, but ethereal and spiritual arrows seemed to do the job. DK was near useless...

im so glad to be past that little rat! the game is just so addictive i think there may be some psychotropic hypnotism coming from the music.

Glad to hear it. If you have any other problems don't be affraid to ask them.

Well if you slow down the music to 25 % and reverse it you can hear in latin "I will continue to play this game"

Yeah I know the folk at larian know pig Latin at best. The phrase "ego mos persevero ludo is venatus" is full of gramatical errors. Also Alrick you forget that our subconscious mind does know latin. It would be a pretty stupid subconscious if it didn't.

Well, I guess so. After reading enough Asterix comics I assume that my subconscious is now quite good at it.
