True Shot and the damage portion of Crossbow Expertise are broke, as of the latest
patch.
There are only a couple serious bugs to avoid.
Don't toss a teleporter into the castle before getting an invitation and talk to the new duke, or you will break a required quest when you do eventually enter by invitation.
There are two trapped chests in the Verdistis sewers which can permanently polymorph you into a frog or rabbit (requiring a reload). Make sure your spiritual resistance is about 10 or more (so you can avoid the effect), or save before opening chests there (if you have not saved in awhile).
A couple people have had problems with their resistances after using multiple items with a Magic Barrier bonus, or when the learned level and equipment bonuses for Magic Barrier added up to more than 5. You will not necessarily run into this if you find and use equipment with a Magic Barrier bonus, though.
At the start of the game, when George asks you to fetch something for him, do so. There is a minor glitch with a later quest if you refuse his request.
Many of the things mentioned in the topic below were fixed in the patch. The forum server/domain was changed some time ago; any old links to "lariancom.siteprotect.net" just have to have that part of the URL changed to "larian.com" to work properly.
