Most ive seen is 71-100 on the sword from the holy items quest. Also Ive seen some armour needing up to 75 str to use, so what is the most str required for any armour.

Lastly how much str is best to give a warrior character? Just enough to use your items or should you put more for more damage?

Thanks

71-100 is the maximum damage for a one handed sword. 65-75 is about the maximum strength or agility as far as requirements go.

If your constitution is high enough that you are not in danger of dying in a couple hits from boss monsters, then I would keep your agility high enough to max your chance to hit and minimize your chance to be hit (see differences between classes) and put the rest into strength. It really depends on your playing style, though.

As a warrior using a sword, my primary stats at the end of the game were as follows (the number in brackets is excluding equipment bonuses, etc.);

Strength 145 (111)
Agility 150 (112)
Intelligence 18 (10)
Constitution 100 (74)

Vitality 1260 (444)
Magic 574 (30)

I was visiting the dwarf armour/weapons merchant, and I saw a [nocando] sword with a one hand damage of somthing like (80-90 min damage and 120-130 max damage).

I dont know whether my eyes were decieving me now. Ill have to look again and see if i cant find another high damage sword like that.

It had the exact same graphics as a normal [nocando] sword you can buy from Geoff in ars magicanna. Also it was only slightly magical, not a really special one. I should have bought it and tried it on.

Sorry, checked it again, nocando is a onehander at the Dwarven Halls - but they had only a max of 65 dam. without sword expertise and other goodies.

yeah sorry. well what im using (one hander) is a [nocando] sword that I bought from Geoff (the metalsmith in ars magicanna). I think its a [nocando] sword.

The other one I saw was also a [nocando] sword from the dwarven smith in the dwarven halls, and it looked the same as the one i use, only it did phenominal damage. Maybe it was just buggy of something.

all onehanded nocandos I saw, where limited to 65 max. dam. - but my char has no sword expertise. Wish, I could find that nocando from the unfriendly knight and look up these stats - but Raze will know, he used it <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif" alt="" />
Kiya

I must have sold it <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shame.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" />

I just went to check my sanity at the dwarves blacksmith. And I saw a penetrating [nocando] sword. 74-112 damage. And he had more which did the usual damge of 37-65.

If you tell me how to take a snapshot ill post it for you to see!

Ok figured out how to take a snapshot. haha i tried to take it when i was looking at his invent, but its not possible. I had to buy the sword to take the shot.

Do I have to upload the piccy to a website to be able to post it? And if so, where can i do this?

You were faster, Jezza - I've already come up with a stronger nocando, the one Raze used. Has more damage - but I don't know if it's a 1/2-hander. My mage is far too weak to use it.

About the pic: If you have no website of your own, I can host it for you - details via PM.

In any case: I hang my head in shame <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

you to hang your head in shame. You do so much for the forum, you give invaluable help to others, and your lucky: because there are some things you still have not seen before, meaning you still have playability!

If you're south of the castle a knight approaches you and insults you (cutscene) - you can fight him. Raze told me this sword was very good.

Poisoned Acid, could you please, remove the pic out of your quote? Your post is easier to read then - thank you <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
Kiya

But the sword on the pic you're quoting: this is simply a sword I bought from Grischa.
