Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity - Original Sin - General Re-mapping keys to numberpad is bugged

I want to remap controls to the number pad. The game lets me re-assign keys to the number pad but does not correctly read number pad key presses. It sees them as indistinguishable from the number keys above the letter keys on the main portion of the keyboard. Instead of moving the map around (as I want it to) when I press the keys on the number pad, it selects items from the quick bar.

Is your Numlock on?

The bug occurs both when numlock is on and when it's off.

You can't at this time, been suggested, hope for it in a patch.

Been hoping for it in a patch for the last several iterations of the game but the request has thus far been ignored.

The Oct 30 patch fixes the arrow keys for the Mac but the numpad for the PC is still not functioning properly. Why not?
