don't get me wrong people, when the game actually LOADS i love playing this game. the problem is that everytime i go to load a saved game the darn thing crashes. i've read the post about reinstalling but i'm getting sick of doing that. i always get to about the farmland/marketing area before this happens... am i alone here?

I'm sorry, but as far as I'm concerned, you are alone. I haven't had any such troubles. Sorry I can't help you.

It is strange.

You have nothing running in the background that may couse a conflict?

33, I can go to the Waste Lands now, but I'm gonna try solving some more quests in Rivellon first.

i have absolutely nothing running in the background. i have even done that un-install re-install thing like 4 or five times. my lap top has more than what the requirments for the game calls for so i really have no idea what is going on.

Turn your color resolution to 16bit instead of 32!

Take a look if you have an error.txt file in your divinity folder. If yes please post it´s content.

What I hate is that even though I have enough power and room on my computer to run Divine Divinity is that it really slows down at some points. I try to take it as patiently as I can, but what can a brother do?

There is a bug (in Verdistis) that causes this problem!

After installing the latest patch the problem should be gone!

I run the game on a minimal system and the game does slow down--seems to be accessing the memory cache. I've found the worst problems to be with the Council of 7, when trying to use the scrying balls--they seem prone to crashing. Just remember, save early and save often

The same goes for me sometimes. I have installed the patch, but still sometimes the game goes very slow. But I don`t mind. It is not so bad.
