Hello,

Ok, today i played a lot of hours with my friend then i realised i could not save F5 button does nothing and when i press esc and go to save it seems i can't do anything. i bought my game on Steam and i've seen steam having connection problem today (connection to steam lost, while playing) and i wonder if it's related.

I keep my game open, so maybe i can still save if we find a way to do it.

Does closing and openning steam will shut down my game ? Anything i can do ?

Are you hosting the game? Only the host can save.

Were you able to save earlier and it stopped working at some point, or had you not tried that session?

In the Save Game window, if you click on New Save, does a dialogue windo open up allowing you to enter a name, then either hit Enter or the Ok button?

If the person who joined leaves, does that get saving working again?

the person left already i tryed to save before and after he left.

I assume you already tried switching regions, etc?

I'm not sure what could be done to reset whatever is preventing the game from saving. (maybe a cutscene didn't finish properly, or something)

i did not try to switch regions, can i do it while my game is open ?

as for the cutscene, i really don't know if i have seen one.

If you have access to the End of Time, or the Black Cove, etc, then you can try switching maps, and see if the loading screen transition makes a difference.

i have tryed going to the end of time and it make no difference
i was hoping this could make it.

I will still wait if you have any more ideas.

I'll check with someone for any ways you might be able to force it to save, but it is 4am in Belgium now, so it'll be awhile before I get a response.

The only quest we did was the great staff of Cecil, sorry if the translation is not correct cause my game is in french. We found the staff before getting the quest from Cecil then we started the quest and goes to the dock and talked to a captain, right now it seems to tell me to find the staff on the beach, but i have the staff already. Maybe this is the 'cutscene' not finish properly you were talking about ?

For me Cecil told me everything about the staff but when my friend was talking to Cecil it seems he was starting over to the start of the quest.

There shouldn't be a problem finding the staff first, AFAIK, but that may have been what got messed up somehow.

Did you go back to Cecil and tell him you had the staff? You would need to do so with the character that has it in their inventory.

oh i did that part but that don't solve my saving problem

well i guess i will have to do all that part over again ...
I hope you will find a way to solve many bugs the game still have cause, that game is awesome but there is a lot of bugs inside of it.
