Really appreciate that Lew,

A last minute choice by myself is not to give anyone anything for the holidays. I just don't see why to care for people who mock me, so thanks for the site.

It's all good

I'm confused, too ...

By the way, I like the layout : It's nice and clear - and loads within seconds ! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

hey lews! quite a sight your site is! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" />

if i may comment, the text seem to blend too well with the background, making it quite hard to read unless i highlight the text.

it would be better for all especially for 56k modem users like me if u have the screenies in a different section while putting the thumbnails on the mainpage so we won't have to endure the long loading of all the screenies.

& i'm sure the colour scheme can be improved. blue & white just don't go well with black, red & yellow background.

just my 2 cents.

an add-on to Jangut :

Test your site also on higher resolutions. I'm running in 1400*1050 and the background repeats itself. You can take care of this by using tables with a fixed width (for example 800 pixels if you want to optimise for 800*600). In that way the background will fit nicely and everybody will get a clean site on their screens.

Hmm very nice Lews and not a pot ... inside <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> I must say that it is well done, I tried using Freeweb but they limit you to 50 files, and my site has something like 500, aside from the fact you can't ftp with paying $30.00, so with the resources available to you, you have done very well <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" />

Yeap. And whenever you think of it, think of me too. I would love to have a site but I know absolutely nothing on how to make it. Not even a clue. You know so much and the site looks pretty cool. So I admire you that you have made all this by yourself and it is a good job. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" />

hey luc, don't put yourself down like that. u can do it as well & that's a reality, not a comforting act by me.

why don't u get netscapebrowser which also have a friendly html editor that has a comprehensive help to get u through your first page. when u're done with that, ask me & i'll help u with posting the pages up.

... it starts with a small step ....

I know a bit how to make sites sorry, but I've learned only hardcoding <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> ) , but I have no money for that.

Hey Jan have I told you you are an angel today? Nope. It is been a while since I told you so. So let me remid you : You are an angel <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Thank you very much for offering to help me. I appreciate it <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

A question now : My explorer has an editor? Where? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/question.gif" alt="" />

<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" /> well it's not. it's just for u to look at the codes of the page. gibberish if u like.

the closest thing to an editor for IE is notepad but that won't help u much in explaining how to make a page filled with text, pictures, tables, etc.

so if u don't mind getting netscape or some other html editor (somebody told me arachnophilia is good for newbies) which u can find in download.com or tucows.com, learning html or the basics of it isn't as hard as u think. no need to sweat over the actual codes.

& thanks for the angelic compliments, luc. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" /> u just made my day from good to great. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" /> keep sending me the good vibes! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
