Hi all,
Can anyone more experienced take a look at the action points calculation, more particularly 鍍urn action points? I thought that the formula is Turn AP = 3.5 + (SPD * 0.5), but the game shows 4 as a base + when I have a speed of 7, turn AP remains at 6 (I would expect 7). Has the formula been changed? Thank you.

I would like to know if the formulae changed, too.

When I have a speed of 7, my turn AP is also 7 like it was before.

Based on a little experimentation, the new formulae are:

Start AP = 2 + (Spd+Per)/2
Turn AP = 4 + (Spd-1)/2

The results are rounded down to the nearest whole number.

Hmm, but isn't this the same as before?

4+(Spd-1)/2=4+Spd/2-1/2=3.5+Spd/2

I'm pretty sure the new formula is actually Turn AP = 6 + (Speed - 5)/2

Effectively it is the same, the only difference being that the base is written as a whole number. I assume this has something to do with believing that console players can't handle decimals.

Vardis, your formula is also equivalent. 6+(Spd-5)/2=6+(Spd-1)/2-2=4+(Spd-1)/2=3.5+Spd/2

I'd bet a months salary that he knows this! ^^

Yeah, but the only reason to write something different from the 3.5 formula was to match the in-game description.

And this is why I wish it actually showed off the reason for the value ingame... smirk
Why it doesn't beats me.
