Is there going to be just as much hack and slash as there was in Divine Divinity?

Please take note that I haven't completed DD yet so no spoilers please!

If it's going to incorporate mindless runs of hack and slash, then maybe I'll give the game a miss. :P I'm getting my fill of hacking aimlessly like a zombie in DD currently and I feel sick.

Hello and welcome.

I would reccomend you to try the demo and see for yourself, a picture is worth a thousand words. Since BD is party based, I would say there are less H&S.
Also, I would've argued with you on the ammount of H&S in Divinity but hey, I am sure you haven't posted this message to argue about H&S .

Cheers,
-Bazil.

No there isn't. There are less monsters which are stronger, for fewer but more strategic fights. The demo is the first part of the first act, and as such designed to be a little linear (the other acts are non-linear). The full game will have much more variety and more elaborate quests.

LOL well, thank you everyone for your responses.

Being a bit strategic? I like that. :P

Well, I'll probably try out the demo in about say, errr 6 to 8 months' time...lol. I still have a big bunch of games incompleted and I'd to uninstall all of them 'cos of my exams... lol.

Haha! I had Thief 2, Wizardry 8, Independence War 2, Riftrunner and Neighbours From Hell 2 during my exam period. Was difficult to uninstall them all .

When you find a big kettle of crazy, it's best not to stir it.
