Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - Bugs & Technical Problems Act I: Ifan Ben Mezd quest, possible bug?

I've escaped Fort Joy and Ifan is with me, I got the note from Magister Borris' corpse (and the relative log's entry) which says to talk to Zaleskar but once I talk to him, be it with my main character (the Red Prince) or with Ifan, I don't get any kind of dialogue regarding Ifan's quest.
Is this a bug or am I missing something?

Sounds like a bug. I got a prompt from Ifan about talking to Zaleskar. I didn't kill Borris, though, I just intimidated him with Ifan. Maybe that difference is what triggers the glitch.

The same thing happened to me when I killed Borris (as opposed to talking to him). Just continue on the main quest and Ifan's quest will automatically advance. (Although you do miss out on a great crossbow! )
