Hey,
So I'm on the 'Save the Imps' quest and I noticed that the two combination materials I need have vanished. I go back through save games to finally find one with both of them, and then go to combine them, and... Nothing. No item is produced.
I do some experimenting and realize that the problem is the battlefields. Combining quest items in the battlefields causes them to fizzle and not give the item. I must have done this in my main game without realizing and yeah...
I CAN go back, but I really, really, don't want to. It's quite a lot of time wasted...
Is there a way to fix this? Is it a known issue? Do they just squirrel off to someplace I can actually find them?
