Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - General Warden - what pre-made build to start with?

Hello,

I'd like to try the Warden build here: https://fextralife.com/divinity-original-sin-2-builds-warden/

but I can't seem to figure out what pre-made class to pick that the game offers you to start.

The Warden build guide says we need high finesse, so does this mean start with Ranger?

Sorry if this is dumb question, I just don't want to start wrong and waste a lot of time.

You can customise any of the pre-sets however you wish. I think Ranger would probably be closest to what you want to start with, but you would still need to adjust the abilities, skills and talent, at least.
After act 1 you will be able to respec, so you can make additional adjustments then, in addition to however you build as the character levels.
