This should have worked. I followed the goblin priest to her chapel away from followers, attacked and cast silence. Somehow she was still able to call support despite being silenced. So my party ended getting killed because we were in a zone of silence while all the acolytes threw spells at us from outside the circle.

Goblin Flare pistol, works outside of silence.

Remembering div, you could have cut off the golbins arms and it still would have got it's first action off :P

Interesting situation. Its like when there is a cut scene when you are having trouble sleeping, but elves don't sleep they meditate. The developers cannot account for every situation. If you drop silence over a alert drum does it stop it from making a sound?
