In the last gift bag, new cool stuff arrived, with new enemies and gear. This enemies, for now (act 1), doesn't provides XP and i'm sure that's intended. But one of this enemies DOES PROVIDES experience. Specifically, the dog in the magisters ship, after the turtles, when you meet the elf scion.
