Hi again

I read a post where people were having a prob getting enough gold. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
Here is a simple way to get unlimited gold <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shhh.gif" alt="" />
1- make a new save, call it #1
2- open your invent and drop gold on ground
3- make a new save, call it #2
4- exit game and navigate to save games folder
5- open save game #1 and move the files inv.b0 inv.b1 inv.b2 inv.i0 inv.i1 inv.i2 to save game #2.
6- start game with save game #2
7- rinse and repeat as needed

If you have drag and drop enabled on your PC you can simply drag the files listed to desk top, open savegames dir and drag the files from desk top and drop them on top of save game #2.
I did this with gold,potions and anything I might want lots of (perm potions)
each time you repeat it the number of items doubles!

I have to warn you that that chance is very high that you will corrupt your savegames this way.

I have done this many times without any probs, you just have to be sure to move all six inventory files. I believe each one represents a type of inventory (tabs). I'm using patch 1.42, btw this is not an original trick, it works in DD.

An easier way to get unlimited gold (or at least all you could ever possible want in the game):

1. Train in pickpocket
2. Play the game

But does it give you unlimited potions(perm surv found early in game),

Correction wimps pretending to be real men use a hexeditor to alter their savegames. Real men don't need to edit the saves. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evilgrin1.gif" alt="" />

reminds me of people who would use 'godmode' in doom. sure you can do it...but why???

Well I tried the hex edit method in the demo. It's nice to have a mage in the start of the game with elementeal attack maxed out on all elements. Haven't tried it yet on the full game yet since I want to finish to game frist.

Can you dupe items in this game by saving the game, then dragging an item but not dropping it.. then quick loading the game? In DD if you did this you'd have the item in your inventory and on the cursor.

It was pretty cool.. I duped that one cursed sword in the stone and the stats were pretty nice <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />.

Nope, was already taken out - hope, the new patches didn't bring the quickload bug in again.

I traded in 33 arrows for that bowl + 10k gold
Then I repeated the sell arrows (between 3 and 8 at a time) till the entire stack of 247 was gone, then stole that stack back (WHEEE 1 steal equalling 340k cash <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /> ). It was a great time to <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/party.gif" alt="" /> after I found those arrows (still is <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> )

Trouble is => Kiyana needs those arrows <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/puppyeyes.gif" alt="" /> - poor little thief, stranded on Nemisis, just because she wanted to look if the pallies would drop anything encumbersome during their battle with the Necro. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" />

I found the converting normal arrows and selling them for gold an awesome way to boost my income. For me, I look for any high level gear with lots of charm slots then I go back and forth until I get the Yit Charms that I want (normally; Um/Vit, Ydra/Str, Joph/Agi, and Vorr/Con). Once I have gone back and forth to the BF enough to buy all the charms I need I embue my items and make them very powerful. Other than getting stuck, I have yet to meet a boss/monster that I couldnt take on with my hero by hisself. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evilgrin1.gif" alt="" />
