(Note: Asked permission to Lynn if I could post this a while ago for a similar thread and she said it was ok.)

As the thread's title says, I'm looking for people interested in playing an online pen and paper game. How does this work you ask? Well, easy: We basically post in the game's thread whenever we have time, roleplaying our characters this way, as opposed to sitting all together around a table. This does allow the game to move ahead whenever people post, so in order to keep it moving, it's preferred if you could post at least once a week.

Right now I'm still running my second game, though the storyline in there is running towards it's conclusion, so that's why I'm already asking around if anybody's interested in joining the third game.

The setting is The Elder Scrolls (arena, daggerfall, battlespire, redguard, morrowind), while the rules are Dungeons&Dragons. Knowledge of the rules isn't required and the game starts at about level 4 (to make you less likely to die from say, one dog's bite). Can't say much about the story yet, as that's partially dependant on how the still running game ends, but I can say it'll be about 200 years after Morrowind. For those worried: the world itself still looks very much the same, just that several things do happen to shift the powers that be around.

For those interested, feel free to let us know here (you will have to sign up to the forum to actually join the game).

So in short, if you're an experienced roleplayer and feel like trying out my game, go ahead and hope you'll enjoy it. If you're an unexperienced roleplaying and feel like doing the same, go ahead and we'll help you out entirely (About half of my players who joined didn't know D&D, while some didn't know the Elder Scrolls but they did manage fine if I say so myself).

I am just posting to provide an updated version of the game information. There's no need to register into our forums just to view Tamriel Game III information.

But while you're bound by the pc game, I can have any event that I wish to occur and even have events take place that fall outside of normal rules. So for example, whereas it's impossible to have say, a machine gun appear in Divine Divinity, I can do that in a pnp game.

Note: No machine gun has appeared in my game. Yet.

so... I'll make a machine mod.

Or play Fallout or Jagged Alliance.

And suddenly a portal opens, leading to an entirely different world. Say, one made of mostly... fire?

It type two lines and it's done. Takes what? Let's exagerate and say 2 minutes.

How fast can you make a mod that allows people to move over an interactive terrain about the size of say, the moon? To each their own, but while games have visuals, they leave little to the imagination often and will always be more limited than actual pnp (online or not) roleplaying.

My apologies, I am posting this again for the updates in the game. To view the begginers' information for the game, please check out The Tamriel Game III.

I also want to invite those who might be interested in a Forgotten Realms setting game, if the Elder Scroll settings of The Tamriel Game doesn't appeal to you. Please view the information at the Faerûn forum.

Those who would like to or want to play are most welcome, whether you are a novice player or experienced.

Thank you.

Faerun is just in its infancy, and I need to get as many devoted, fun, and insightful players as I can! Just stop by the aforementioned link that Gia put up, and stop by to see if it is for you!
