I can't find the key or door or person I need to talk to. The first time to get him is through the well next to his house, but this time the ladder in the well under his house; it's gone. What obvious thing have I missed.

Second: you're probably getting him for counsil right? Then you have to fioght all orcs there and demonia (or whatever her name is). Inthe house she came out from, witch was from landalor(sp), is a key on one of the cabinets. Use alt to see it. Tha one should open the door.
