The ad looks really nice, but could have used a better quote. Saying that DD players will feel right at home with BD is almost as if you're saying: This is only for DD players, or BD is not very innovative. While we all know that's not true.

And let's not forget that most DD players will get BD anyway, since they KNOW how good DD was.

What i find quite stunning is that they have RPGDot quoted as a press reference in this big ad - not bad for that small site run by only a few, but very enthusiastic people! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" />

Seems they have built themselves up quite a standing in the CRPG world, even sipping through into the world of traditional media (and the money, money universe of publishers <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> )! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />

though i thought it was funny that many of rpgdot people are friends with larian.

There's no need to use the first game as a platform to launch the second, as those who played the first (as Tovi said) will play the second...but what of those who didn't?

Well, that is the very first magazine ad I have seen for <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beyond.gif" alt="" /> . Has anyone else seen any in print besides that one? Online doesn't count here.

So when the bell rang I came back, and brought my books to the next class, but I noticed my mag was missing. so i asked around and some kid took it! i asked the teacher, she said she didn't know anything (the lier) but later heard the truth!


some kids stole it from me, and threw it around, so the teacher took it from them! and so i went and asked for it back, since I didn't even do anything. But she won't! unless I come after school which is impossible because I need to leave immediatly! and now I have spring break for a week, so can't even ask her again! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" />

Wow! What a bummer Lews! That being the collectors edition and all. Try not to be angry with the teacher. It is not the teachers fault for trying to keep order in class. IMHO, the classmates who took your mag in the first place owe you another one. Or perhaps you can see that teacher befor class and ask very,very nicely for your magazine back. With a promise of course, that you will place it in your locker untill it is time to go home. Ask for an escort as witness if needed. Keep faith brother. You will get it back!
