Untrue. I get virus e-mails with my name as the sender, and I'm sure I did not send them as the IP address is wrong. I also get virus e-mails from other people I know and again the IP address showed that it was not from them.
Hundreds of people could have the
test@larian.com e-mail address in their address book and only one of them needs to have a virus. Check the IP address in the raw e-mail header, its the only solid verification, without that any statement about who send it is pointless.
