Please stop the spamming here people, or i ask Lynn to close this thread.
My reason to open this Thread is to transfer the good Discussions from Threads where they are Off Topic.

If enough Member want a real Off Topic Thread (like the Offs in the german part) we can open one.

I thought i had made my opinion clear.

In the last Time i heare to often that the cosy in the Forum is gone, and thats the way of the Forum is not so good than before.

I hear to much whining about all the Spam Threads like the Funniest Picture Thread, or the Illusion Thread, or the different a-z Threads.

This Thread is opened as a tool, a tool who can save all the little discussions, a tool which can hold the other Threads Off Topic free.

And what is the reaction? Spam, no serious manage

Jokes, and Fun can we have in every Thread, for a while.
But normally the Off destroy the good Threads, but the Off Discussions are normaly to small to make a own Thread for them.
We all have something to do thats the way of this Forum is change back in a other way.

Please people, think about this. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Hey guys, I agree with Stone completely.

It would be nice to have an Off Topic thread, but this thread is not being used
for what it was intended.

When I read the posts in this thread, I sense that it is being made a joke of.
That takes away the meaning of the thread and the good that it was created for.
If you want a spam thread, start a spam thread and entitle it Spam. Don't
destroy the good that this thread was created for by just filling it with spam.

Please help us and use it for what it was intended.

I installed Firefox, used it and still nothing. It keeps saying that 'the action got interrupted and needs to be stopped".

Lets see if I can help you.
It's a uni site.

click on this link: http://dragon.uml.edu

On that page choose the first link ( Illusions Gallery ).
And on that page choose the first link ( Nik's Mummy - a reversal )

Hope that works.

-There's lots of other good stuff on that site btw.

Don't worry about it Stone.
They (we) chat everywhere these days.
I guess mentallity changed. (Not only on this Forum.)
That's why "old members" who come back say that the forum changed a lot.

But useally we can get ppl back on topic by ignoring the chat or posting a helpfull post or making the chat to rediculous.

Your idea is still good though. Just like the off topic in the german part. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
Just give people time to get used to it. And use it properly.
Like the post of me that you quoted. It's all about illusions. Don't move posts to fast.

@ Draghermosran -> I saw your post about buying a Wacom tablet. Have you used
one before?

Are you into computer art heavily? What program do you use?

I never have been able to get to the site you posted. I am still trying though.

that's odd, the site is a community of artists, digital and photgraphy.

I'm a student multimedia, get things from websdesign to video-editing.
today was my first experience with a wacom, I use Photoshop, since years now. And now Corel Painter Classic wich came with the tablet. I'll try to put my work on another host tomorrow or so.

That's a terrific price! How big is the tablet? Which model?

I think you are going to love using the Wacom tablet. I've been using one with
Paint Shop Pro for over 2 years now and I wouldn't know what to do without it.
My use is not job related, more the thing of just loving to mess with photos
and drawing and painting.

I got hooked on Corel Painter when I got my tablet and it is a fantastic program.
I just recently got Corel Painter 9 and I have been amazed at all of the things
you can do with it. Now if I can just learn to use them. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I have just recently started to try to learn how to draw. Everything before that
I have messed around with has already been drawn or taken from a photo.

If you know of another way to get to the page you posted the link for, tell me
and I will try that maybe by just going to the site first and picking an art
group or artist or something like that. Are you listed there under the name
you use here?

Do people in Australia call the rest of the world 'up over'?

No, you're down-under and upside down. Come over here and you'll see. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

Not only that! but the majority of the world drive on the wrong side of the road <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Mea, England is NOT the majority of the world...

Übereil

I thought England drove on the correct side of the road, the left? Why do we drive on the left?
It's not?? Oh my God, and I always thought it was! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> Oh no, next you are gonna tell me that Santa doesn't exist too... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/suspicion.gif" alt="" />
Erm... Back to the discussion if it's you or everybody else that is wrong: Is it 1/4 of the world or 3/4 of the wold that drives on the right side of the road?

Übereil
1/4 on the left, 3/4 on the right.
