I have met all requirements of the game.

I have read previous posts in the forum and have tried all the solutions that were described. I have reinstalled a clean version and installed the latest patch. I have tried turning the hardware acceleration by one notch down. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ouch.gif" alt="" />

Help is needed and greatly appreciated! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> [/color]

Have you had Tingalf approach you in a cut scene yet? If not, try running the configuration program and switching to software mode, and perhaps lower the game resolution. That helps with some cut scene problems.

If you start a new game, can you run to Ars Magicana and approach Geoff without crashing? If you save the new game, you could use iZakaroN's SaveEditor (or from Kiya's site, with description) to boost the character's constitution (at least) before heading to Ars Magicana.
This would help determine if the problem is with the game itself, or something in the save game folder (ie a corrupt file).

The saved game is the scene before Tingalf approaches the character. I have tried playing the game in software mode but it does not seem to help. An error message appeared stating DIV.EXE error.

I tried playing another saved game before reaching Ars Magicanas. It seems to be perfectly fine. I suspect it's the save game folder.

How old is your most recent save that works properly? It may be easier to redo a portion of the game than to work around the problem in the most recent saves.

Check your PM (click 'My Home' in the top menu bar, then 'Received Private Messages').
