to any one who played some sort of shooting game (counter strike, half life etc..)
know that there is a cool ability that allow you to build up momentum of speed, that start in hopping forword as the speed keep on increasing and increasing.. somthing that allow players to doudge extremley well.

now, befor your gona say "HEY, this isnt a shooting game, go away noob!" - the bunnie hopping is still reasonable ability even for rpg games, that involve range style doudge or melee charge :3
incase a dragon shoot fire balls at you from the skys or if you see a target miles away.

i hope i brought the bunnie hopping to your attention :3 if its not in the game yet.

I know this kind of move from Commander Keen 4.

With jumping tool, Commander Keen could hop much higher if he had gained more "speed" (read: energy) with it.

there will be a lot of agility and high jumps, dodges, rolls in the game. I don't think we need stuff like that. Why not put in jetpacks?

Your wings wouldn't be tired if you had a jetpack.

This could actually become quite a quest: Help a dragon who's wings have been cut off by angry dragon-haters (or even hunters - theme of mistreating of animals, so to say) to either

a) restore his health (wings healing back)
b) perform his vengeance upon the people who cut his wings off

whereas a) could include that

a.a) the dragon swears an oath that he will repay this help to the one who helped him heal
a.b) he is not thankful for helping him
a.c) or even swears an oath but refuses to keep this ("I was just lying")

with a.a containing the dragon's difficulty if

a.a.a) he has to help against other dragons (ethical problem of fighting against fellow dragons !)
a.a.b) he has to help against hated humans (if dragons hate them in general, that is)
a.a.c) he has to do (as the help) something in general unpleasant to him (but still feels bound to the oath).

Just as an idea. wink

I hate to advertise, but it's already been done, although with brontosaurus' instead of dragons (http://blurst.com/jetpack-brontosaurus).
