Larian Studios Forums Divinity II The Dragon Knight Saga / Flames of Vengeance (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Hellllppp!! >:(

So i bought Divinity 2 on Steam yesterday for the pc. And after about 4 hours of playing i switched to see what "Flames of Vengence" was, and seeing how i obviously shouldnt play that yet i quit and a friend asked me to play a different game with him and when i came back the only save i had was the autosave from Flames of Vengence.. Is this a glitch or why can't i find my saves, please help me. i dont want to do all that over again..

Are you playing under the same user account that you were when you started? Any manual saves or quicksaves from D2:ED should still be available, even with the autosave being overwritten when you started FoV.



If you want to check, in XP the saves are in the folder

C:\Documents and Settings\ %username% \Local Settings\Application Data\Divinity 2\Savegames


or in Vista / Win 7

C:\Users\ %username% \AppData\Local\Divinity 2\Savegames


You may need to set Windows Explorer to show hidden files and folders (XP, Vista, Win 7).
