I unpacked Main.pak, edited a file, and then tried to re-pack it using "Create PAK file..." in the lstools editor, but was given an error. Am I misunderstanding the intended usage of this feature?

(I added the Public and Mod folders to the list of files to be packed)

lstools currently cannot repack .pak files that have multiple parts (so Main.pak, Textures.pak).

For what you're trying to do, a cleaner solution is to create a separate .pak file, add only the file you've changed, then place the pak in the Mods folder.
