Hi,

I'm at the end of the game now (I think) from my first play through.

I thought I'd play again in lone wolf mode, and wondered how I could max the level I reach by the end of the game.

My question is, does killing NPCs earn you XP points?

I'm currently level 20 on my first play through and wondered if I could get higher than that by battling everyone?

Thanks.

I believe that killing NPCs does award experience, but only a very small amount when compared to completing quests, killing 'real' enemies and the like.
It's probably to deter you from going on a murderous rampage through every settlement you come across ;-)

it gives proper XP if you are around same level as the NPC.
