Is there any way to retrieve an item that's glitched in terrain? See below:


The item in question is a ring and it's lying just outside the doorway. Unfortunately when I try to pick it, I get the message "Can't reach".

Can you try with a character that knows Telekinesis?

Can you click (or click and drag) on the tooltip while holding Alt?

Do you have a controller you can try, to see if you can get it with the area search function (hold the A button)?

Not successful, I tried with my best telekinesis character buffed with equipment. Dragging the tooltip, or clicking on the tooltip didn't work either.
What's the area search function? I can borrow an Xbox controller, but I'm playing using keyboard and mouse.

In the controller UI, holding the A button down will search the area around the lead character, and bring up a list of containers and items that can be interacted with.
If you email a save to supportdos@larian.com I can take a look at it. Each save is a folder in the '..\Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin Enhanced Edition\PlayerProfiles\<ProfileName>\Savegames_patch' folder.

Oh, that's the alt key for kb & mouse.

Yes, but it brings up a list of items, rather than just show the tooltips.
