As you may already know (or guess from my posts here & there), I'm playing Lohse, I didn't kill Saheila in Fort Joy (well the option was there, but I'm not the person to kill such a sweet thing) and upon reaching the Elven camp in Reaper's Coast, I've got to rescue her from the Lone Wolves. I have both Ifan and Sebille in my party, so both had some business with Roost (actually I'm playing with the Party Size Evolved mod, so I have all companions, most the time it works fine, the only odd things are, the merchant window isn't clearly made for more than 4 people and when you get the party's opinion, some members just repeat, what someone else said before them word by word, nothing game breaking though, I love my entourage and the experience of doing all their personal quests at the same time, don't need to choose whom to abandon, there should really be a vanilla option to have more than 4 people, six is just about right, or the lucky seven if you don't pick an origin as your main, 4 is so restricting), but doing that quest turned pretty weird for me. I've found a walkthrough, it's a wiki in fact, anyway it reads, that if you have Ifan, you can enter the sawmill peacefully, didn't work for me, one of the mates, a Lizard lady, sitting in front of the main building (where Roost is) was instantly rude, asked Ifan (I approached with him first), how he dares to show his face there? Then she gave me 2 options, either bribe her with a fixed sum, which failed and resulted in combat, or to back off. Loading and trying with Lohse had almost the same effect with only the bribe sum being higher, didn't matter, I had the gold, but failed as well (guess they don't like demon possessed Godwoken in their close vicinity), so I had to fight them to get into the sawmill. Then approaching Roost, no conversation, instant fight, killing him, looting the place, saving Saheila, the usual Godwoken day, you may think. But later talking to Sebille, she acted like there was an actual conversation between her and Roost ("you've heard, what Roost said with your own ears, no, there is no other way", or something like that. Well I haven't heard anything from Rosst, there was a fight, maybe the spells and clash of steel was too loud to hear anything, but I'm sure, that Sebille also fought at my side, well if she still managed to speak to Roost during combat, I guess?). The weirdness didn't stop there, after escorting Saheila to safety of their Elven camp, everybody thanked me, Saheila taught me about Source (gave me a 2nd SP), Tova was hyper happy about her precious daughter's return, I've got a bunch of rewards, I could call it a day and be off. But my journal entry still looks for Saheila somewhere near the Elven camp (that area has a name, but well, I'm terrible with names - Cullwoods, it seems). Speaking to Saheila and Tova with Sebille started her Prime Scion quest, but the main quest for Saheila still remains open. All related quests are basically done (except those, that are meant to be done in other places, like Arx, didn't check if there's any while writing this), but the journal doesn't reflect that. I have really no idea, what to do for them, Elves are happy, Saheila is safe, they will have a new Mother (Sebille) and whatnot, so I can basically depart for the Nameless Isle, but why does the journal not update that? What else is there to do with them? I've done the 4 seasons challenge as well, but despite it being an Elven structure, it doesn't tie to this quest (I did it just for the record, if nothing else). I'm clueless of what else I can do for them. It's basically the only "unsolved" solved quest there.

And sorry for those essays of mine, I have my habit to write my head off sometimes. XD

EDIT: It's not the Elven seer, it's Saheila's reward, but other than the name, the rest stands, I spoke to her with every character in my party and nothing can bring the journal entry to close this quest. I've got her reward (unless they mean another reward, but unfortunately Saheila isn't interested in a romance XD), really don't know, what else there is. I've healed the injured Elves there, spoke as Sebille with the Ancestor tree spirit (the guy, they burried upon my arrival, Sebille even participated in it, it's part of the quest), nothing seems to move with them, they are stubborn, damn Elves. XD

The quest should close when moving to the Nameless Isle. I check a few saves after that point, and there is an update for the act transition for a couple of the saves, and in a couple other Saheila hadn't escaped Fort Joy.

I have to do a lot of quest still before moving to the next act, but thanks, I figured out, that all "unsolved" quests will close after moving to the Nameless Isle, I just wondered, why didn't this quest close, when I seemingly did everything, that there is, to make Saheila, Tova and the Seven know whom else happy. The thing that bothers me, is that I know, where exactly Saheila is, but the journal reads, that she SHOULD BE with the Elves in Cullwoods. "Should be" isn't the same as "she's totally and definitely there for sure". XD The quest feels not complete eventhough I got every reward from every party involved, so it should be complete at this point. Unless there is more to it? That's what keeps my curiosity going (unless I'm the cat, then I should be damn careful, you know, what they say XD).

This is strange, very strange indeed. I just rescued Saheila with my custom character, not even going to the Elves and doing the ritual (with Sebille), no, straight to the sawmill, the usual business, killing Roost and the guys guarding the bridge on my way back (way in was fine with Ifan, I figured that one, made him meet the Lone Wolf at the Black Bull tavern), so escorting Saheila back to the Elven camp and letting her speak to Sebille (kinda same as in Lohse's playthrough) and the journal reads Saheila's Reward as closed. What's going on? When I do the quest out of order (not doing the ritual, hell not even visiting the Elves before rescuing Saheila), the quest closes just fine?
So let's recap:
Lohse's playthrough: going to Elves, doing the ritual with Sebille, going to rescue Saheila, returning her, speaking to her, taking rewards, quest not closed.
Scarlett's playthrough: going straight for the mill, rescuing Saheila, returning her, speaking to her, taking rewards, quest closed.
The only difference here is the main character and doing/not doing the ritual (burrying Sarias, or what's his name) with Sebille. I doubt any of this matters though.

If you still have saves from both playthroughs before the final section bringing Saheila back, please email supportdos2@larian.com with the saves (or a Dropbox or Google drive link, etc). If you are using any non-Larian mods, also include a list of those enabled and/or the modsettings.lsx file from your profile folder.
Each save is a folder in the '..\Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition\PlayerProfiles\<ProfileName>\Savegames\Story' folder.
In Windows Explorer you can zip a file or folder by right clicking on it/them and selecting 'Send To | Compressed (zipped) Folder' (and similarly in OSX/Finder).

Sadly I don't have them anymore, I've already overwritten both, Lohse is in Arx and Scarlett still in Reaper's Coast, but will depart in short, because there's nothing of interest for her anymore (still some quest to be done, but I might not bother, I'm not keen to do work for Magisters, besides Reimond was killed by me in the Blackpits port, so couldn't report to him anyway). I'm keeping a single save for both characters and disabled autosaves, which would still be overwritten by now.

Because it's about the Elves, it's safe to add Sebille to the mix, it relates anyway as Saheila is also part of her next quest.
So in Lohse's run, I managed to talk Sebille into killing the Mother Tree, don't know how exactly, but I did it, after killing the Master and delivering his black heart. I'll return to the Master yet, but first things first. In Scarlett's run I did almost everything the same way, killed the Shadow Prince, delivered the heart and when Sebille talked to Saheila, she automatically refused to kill the Mother's heart, telling Saheila, that she's now rooted. Perhaps some steps might have been done in a different order, I guess (but not sure)? It's not a big deal, just a strange thing.
Now to the Master. In Lohse's run, Sebille first called me darling, then taught me her song and we killed the Master. In Scarlett's run, she taught me the song without ever calling me darling, we killed the Master and after that deed was done, she started to call me darling. Does she have a greater affection towards Lohse (I wouldn't blame her, if she does indeed)? XD

That sounds like it is a case of her opinion of Scarlett increasing.
