I am having some trouble with my scripts while trying to create a mod.
I have created a character script that has certain options for when flags are set in the dialogue. This animal is supposed to become a summon after they talk with the player, and I created a character flag "becomefamilliar". It works and causes the animal to play an animation and disappear, but I can't figure out how to add the skill to the player.
More specifically, I cannot figure out how to TARGET the player within the script. I have tried to find an example, and I found one that imported the %TargetPlayer. It builds okay, but when I test it within the game it doesn't work. Is that because I am using a character dummy? I'm not quite sure what I am doing wrong here.
