Guys, let's not do either of these things. Thanks.

Agreed there is no need for insults

Planar Ally can grant a Monster companion, payed for by gold and XP, but that won't be until BG4 as it is 1 spell level too high for BG3.

You'll just have to settle for dominate person and the lower level conjure x spells.

It would be cool to have some kind of construct companion that you can build, but I hope more Shale of Dragon age Oranges and less the silent one in NWN2

Agreed I did find it a bit pointless to have a construct as a companion in NWN2 I mean who adds in a companion with no dialogue?

Apparently the devs of NWN2. Also I remember that to actually construct the thing you have to talk to Grobnar. voluntarily, without anyone pointing a crosbow to your head or something. Same to improve it, so manage that companion (I do not even know if you can call it, there were summoned undead with more dialog) It was even more a pain in the ... you know.

You assume far too much. And incorrectly. Reduction Ad Absurdum never did much for any conversation, don't go there.

I would go even further: monster as playable races!

Imagine playing as a Minotaur, centaur, firbolgs...?
Damn! I would love that

I don't know, though, if there are official ways to do it on 5e. Older editions had this option.

I loved the Savage Species book!
