I meet Sir Markham and got the Dark Cave quest

Completed the quest. Killed the vampire,
but now I cab't Sir Markham again
I put a marker on my map when I met him, but he just isn't there

traveled around since then, and returned a couple of times, but no chance

I have talked to the mother of the rescued child,
and she rewardede me

I think he moves around killing Trolls. So he's in the area, but not in one spot only. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Also check your map for the green cross of friendly NPCs

If that doesn't work, you can move him to your location (with a hex editor);
Reviving dead NPCs

Follow the path that goes to verdistis and you'll find him to the west side of the road shortly before it asks you if you want to go to Verdistis. Definetely talk to him before you go into the dark cave.

He had just wander off the marker i put when i first met him

Can i kill Sir Markham after the quest for xp without disadvantages later in the game? :)

This is a guess since I never even thought of killing him but - as I recall, he has no further purpose in the game so it shouldn't be a problem. However, I don't recall even finding him after he possibly rewards me for killing the vampire. He may disappear after that.

I decided to not sacrifice my skillpoints and blood to the vampire in order to save the boy. So i let him kill the boy and saved my valuable Bonus Points. He dosn't gave me reward, so i decided to end his life. Just for info: He gives some xp and disappears after dying without loot. I tried 3 times to kill him, he never droped loot, only xp.

The vampire is a tough, frustrating even fight - I had often done that too. It's an interesting decision whether to kill him or not/save the boy or not. I've never really decided which is the absolute better way.
