Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Technical Problems Extract/repacl tools for .cmp and .dat (translation)

Is there any official/unofficial extractor/repacker tool for .cmp and .dat file format used for Divine Divinity texts?
Wanted to revise Italian unofficial translation but the team has disappeared and so any info about the tools used for translation project... Can't find anything on the Net.

Another question:
what's the format of font files (.fnt)? Bitmap fonts? Can I use tools like Tile Molester or BMFont to edit them?

There is an application "Sprite and Archive Utility" for unpacking sprites and archives in DD, you can use it to unpack flat.cmp and global.cmp.
