Is there a plan to release Caucasian male faces that are HANDSOME and YOUNGER?

As it stands, there is no viable male White character creation for humans.

So, it would be nice if there is a time table on this? It's bizarre that this needs to be asked in the first place, like you have some anti-male, anti-White agenda here.

And by handsome I mean this...

There are human male face meshes in the vanilla game that I consider pretty good. I highly doubt there is an anti-male anti-white agenda (which I don't think there really is, anywhere), considering how the cast is overwhelmingly white. In regards to CC head meshes, it is for example quite lacking in asian faces.

If I am not mistaken, these faces are scanned in from actual ppl. I think some are from Larian employees…. I could be wrong here. The company is Scandinavian and if you look at the over all faces, they tend to have IMO a bias towards them. Especially the elves oddly enough lol. You don’t get much more Caucasian, than Scandinavian. The face you showed is more Mediterranean and towards the Caucasus regions.

I do wonder if “elves” in their mythology tend to be more masculine than the Celtic elven myth (most RPG elements take a good bit from Celtic/Druidic myth).

Half Elves look more elven than the elves do in the game. The really need to switch them.

I don't use mods. It's a low IQ effort to ruin games.
The very concept shouldn't exist given how dumb most people are (recently proven in spades via covid hoax).
I just recently installed basic Fallout 4 mods for settlements, and wouldn't you know it, it wrecked the game necessitating a whole reinstall.

Male half elves could go for super modeling jobs in this game. While male humans look like...peasants.

I'm not a fan of the male human face options. It's hard to explain why, but I think it comes down to those faces being too ... I don't know ... not neutral? Like they have too much character already embedded in their look.

One face is stern and long, for instance. That look carries baggage in a way that's hard to get across. It would make for a fine character, just not my character. I would, for instance, have to build a character around the face rather than using the face for my character.

Another face has a set of eyes that are too close together by a small margin, but enough so that it matters.

Getting one good neutral, traditionally handsome face would be appreciated.

I used exactly this principle for Dragon Age: Inquisition

I agree the faces are limited but I think that can also be said for all races and genders. It’s also annoying to run into your doppelgängers (unless you’re one of the origin characters) at least once or twice in every play through.

I mean, it's like, what the heck Larian? Why does Gortash get to be the only handsome young human male?

Neither insulting language towards others nor controversial comments on topics unrelated to the game are acceptable on these forums.

It's sad to find out real elves were not used as models. The whole industry ignores dwarves, elves and gnomes and just uses humans. As for halflings, where oh where are the hairy feet? Shocking.

I broke my promise to myself and went on to install half a dozen mods.

Also, there is a type 4 look with the same mod that's even better.
Unfortunately, the scarring is integrated.

Whenever I watch the introduction of the Evul! Trio and hear "handsome young man" I shoot coffee from my nostrils. Gortash looks like a middle aged street person in a bathing gown dragged out of a garbage dump.

And I agree that male faces could use some re-editing, although human ones are not the ones most in need of revision (looks at Elves making Conan look effeminate).

It would have saved time in this thread if you had right away told us you were going for the young gay twink aesthetic.

For the record, I really dont visit forums on the internet to witness people insulting each other, and I dont think anyone else does that either.

And yes the face choices are limited but mods will probably fix that well enough.
